Mr. Mulaney's middle-class, distanced intelligentsia sentiments speak loudly to the millennial cohort, myself included, whose meaning-seeking observation of the world is shaped by a more sheltered upbringing and therefore aesthetically stimulated in diverse ways. It's good to see educated humor has a place in standup comedy.
