Cocoy Lumbao explores the capabilities and limitations of the camera as an ocular proxy. Untitled (Eclipse I, II) shows a mother’s hand as she reads a book in Braille to her child in the darkness of a total eclipse, illustrating gestures of tactile perception that convert objects into information in different environments.
