The film traces the past of my Jewish family in Beregszâsz (Carpathian Ukraine), a city that belonged to five different countries in the 20th century. My Grandmother, Serena Davidovics was born there in February 1914, moved to Belgium 1930, survived Auschwitz, while her husband and her family were killed. She died in Brussels in 1987.
